Note di Pranzi – I menu nella storia
Note di Pranzi – I menu nella storia is a traveling exhibition and a format that displays
350 menus from 1850 to today and a series of meetings that tell curiosities, stories and memories about the table, about menus and their testimony.
The first stage was held in Treviso at Casa Robegan in March 2023.

The title of the exhibition “Note di pranzi” refers to the definition given by the great gastronome and writer Pellegrino Artusi (1820-1911) to the “distinte di pranzi” or rather the menus collected in his famous book “La scienza in cucina e l’arte di mangiar bene” of 1891.
The catalog consists of a thematic and chronological path:
1. royal menus of Italy and Europe;
2. military and state menus;
3. convivial menus;
4. travel menus;
5. artists’ menus;
6. hotel and restaurant menus;
7. advertising menus.
